The Indirect Coombs test, also known as the Indirect Antiglobulin test (IAT), is a laboratory test used to detect the presence of antibodies in the plasma or serum that can potentially cause destruction of red blood cells (RBCs). Unlike the Direct Coombs test, which detects antibodies attached to the surface of RBCs, the Indirect Coombs test detects antibodies in the liquid portion of the blood.
The Indirect Coombs Test (Indirect Antiglobulin) cost is Rs.500, although it is now available for Rs.300 because of the offer.
